Evergreen...It is HARD

Went down to check out Chatfield and the small lakes towards horse trails....open water....lots of boat fishing today...figured I would take the scenic route...drove by Evergreen Lake.... 4 hubs up...at least 12 guys fishing....air temps were 53 degrees!!

Saw a small spot of open water by the shore....but bottom line...it is hard across and holding up well....

Nice -- that lake can hold some tricky early ice, especially by the inlet.  I might give it a try over Thanksgiving weekend.  Maybe...

I agree....although they have cleaned it and Zambonied by the Lake House.....so they have a least had an ATV on it...close to shore....I am gonna wait till December...there was open water by Elk Island and close to shore by the dam.... 2 huts today with about 8 guys out there
