first outing on the hardwater
« on: Nov 22, 2014, 11:17 AM »
Yesterday I was out the door by 5:30 and at the lake by 8:30 in the morning. On the way there the temp was around 4° and made for an excellent day for ice fishing. Ice was no less than 5" thick and7" at the thickest where I was. Anyway after a long time of not seeing anything or getting any bites, whamm!! I had a gooder! My pb brookie forsure. http://
How far a fisherman stretches the truth depends on the length of this arms.

What a pig! I don't mind waiting all day as long as one like that hits.

Nice fish, ours was smaller 16 in. but still a nice fish with the beautiful colouring. The rest of our fish were bows that were between 12 and 14 inches. Way to go  :)
Fishing is an attitude especially when you have a 112 lb. halibut at the other end of the line two hundred feet down!

There was never a fish hatched I couldn't outsmart.
