Just talked to a guy that was by Smith Lake deer hunting yesterday and said there were several groups of people ice fishing about 100 yards south of the boat dock. I was up to Box Butte Sunday and there is fishable ice for about 75 yards south from the north edge on the area by boat dock. There was open water on the south side and the west half of lake.
