Fantastic first ice.

I was at my usual trout pond today near Whitecourt. I thought I'd give it a shot and see what the ice was like. 5" all across baby. Ice was nice clear black ice. I iced my limit of Rainbows and even hauled in a nice 2 1/2 pounder. It can only get better from here!~
