What ice? Haha this is echo lake today

The ice angler is a different breed of fisherman. Undeterred by distance, daylight or degrees, these warriors go to extreme measures to chase down the fish attempting to wait out winter below the frozen surface. Through 10-inch holes positioned amidst miles of ice they engage the elusive walleye one-by-one, yeah it's crazy, and some may never understand it.

Wow though it would have at least a skim of ice on it with other lakes already having 3-4"

Echo is partially locked today, lots of open water still. Will be a bit yet if the wind keeps up with this warmup the next few days. East end has ice to about fort San then it's open water. Didn't check west end or any of the other lakes today.

Just got home from Pasqua lake, took my daughter and walked out with a sled.  Went about 50 yards and 6-7 inches of ice, fished 8-12 of water and caught 1 jack 3 walleye and once perch

I am surprised as there was 6" on November 22, I know a guy who was out that day on his quad and measured it. But thickness can be different on different area's of the lake always safe to walk out anyway. At least you caught a few fish, I am going to try on Saturday

Was out on Pasqua yesterday, ice was 8" or more. Lots of Wally's landed great first day of the season. Probs going out Friday afternoon. There was a car that drove on a lutherland but I wouldn't trust the ice yet walk on and be safe.

Checked it out November 24th, and had just locked up night before. Geese had it open further out. Should be good to go by now though.
