I saw lots of ice chunks this morning along the shoreline. The water must have cooled off pretty good to form that ice with the wind and only getting down into the teens last night...

Posted a pic of my dock last night on MFF but it looks even worse now. The whole shoreline looks the same.

Now if this wind would die.

You might want to think about pulling that dock! It should thaw out in a few days. I see a couple boats in on the north shore too.

Yeah. I pulled the bulk of it a few weeks ago but left those last two sections in to cast from at night. As soon as we get a break I'll get it. The eyes stopped showing up out here a week ago so no need for it anymore.

Yeah AW, Driving an hour to catch bluegill isn't like driving 15 min for eyes and jumbos.

Tried Oneida for the frst time early last year. Spent the following 4 weekends there. Looks like this year will be Oneida for eyes until lake George freezers and I can start jigging lakers. Those eyes were a lot of fun now I just need to expand and fish some more areas. Good luck this season guys.

x2, or the "scary" he first said.
The time he was under because of the sudden shock?  Tons of examples of the effect.

I must admit I'm a sucker for videos of people doing funny stupid stuff

HI kowboy....I got rid of my smartfone, then computer crashed sometime around august.I just got it going again. I'm taking a break from fishing the north country, trying to get caught up with stuff around here at home. I fished every day but one, from early October thru first week in November... mostly Off the beaten path on the Salmon River, St. lawrence,Lake Ontario and Oneida. I hope to run into you soon up there and thanks for your concern...catch some big ones this ice season!!

I'm really looking forward to getting on the ice. I got a late start last year but I'm ready now.
