I know a couple of lakes just across the border
Is the ice thick enough yet?

Best perch areas from fargo are an hour drive typically.
Fall: Duck/Pheasant/Bow Hunting
Winter: Hardwater Fishing
Spring: Snow Goose Hunting
Summer: Musky/Walleye Fishing

the ND gov site has a ton of great info on places to try, typically I (live in Fargo) hop in the truck and head to an area looking for sloughs, some you try and are no good but when you find one that has them its awesome. A lot of these sloughs don't have names and most folks in ND are hush hush when it comes to any good ones because it doesn't take long for a small slough to get over fished.
