I was checking this place out. Anyone know how much it is to stay at Jack & Lydia’s Resort  on the lake? Hows the panfish fishing?

I fish it several times per season.  Lots of gills, although they tend to run on the smaller side from 5-7" but you can weed out a batch of decent fish if you're patient.  Crappie tend to be the same, numerous but on the smaller side. I rarely have had a banner day there on crappie, but if you're willing to stay after dark, the fishing can get pretty good.  Pike for me are few and far between coming on tip ups.  As for walleye, I've never personally caught one, but I've heard they are in there.  The good think about that lake is that it freezes pretty early, and holds ice late.  Access is easy as well.  Drop your gear off at the top of the hill where the Deep Lake fishing club (or whatever the actual name is) has a ramp, drive down the street and park at Jack and Lydias and walk back.  They charge $3, but the money goes to the lake stocking fund.  You can drive your ATV or snow machine there as well.
