It's a great time! I was just hoping someone might know when this years is. I need to block that weekend in my schedule so I don't take any charters!  It's the only weekend all winter I get to spend with my wife!

I looked at the Fish And Wildlife website and it hasn't made it on the list yet

Just saw a post to the dvsc Facebook page that this year they have decided to hold a 1 day tournament on February 28th.

I'm very disappointed as the whole point of coming up was the camping and overnight fishing. I for one will not be attending now as it's not worth my time to come up for a single day of fishing.

Also I posted that their rule about no sonar or fish finders is stupid. That rule is 30 years old and the use of Vexilar, marcum, whatever is so commonplace now that saying they are illegal to use for the derby is just silly.
