Man I'm getting excited about getting on the ice in PA this year.  2013/14 was a rough year for tip up fishin on my end, but man the jigging was sweet. 

Lets see some of the best fish from PA ice fishing last year to get us excited for the coming ice season!  Post your favorite PA ice fishing pics from last year!!!

Wow they are some nice browns,  My best last yr. was a 15 1/2 " crappie and a 15" perch  but last yr was a grate yr for us jigging I don"t think I put tip ups out more than 2 times and  I was always moving trying to find the schools. I spent 29 days on the ice, some not so good but others were grate. Can"t wait to walk on water... Sorry no pics......

BROTHER,thats a dandy eye.Did you get him out of the DELAWARE?
I fished NARROWSBURG threw the ice before i was married and had 3 kidds,[[[NO FEAR BACK THEN]]]LOL,But i havent been on it in years threw the ice.I remember catching some decent eyes in the 22 to 25" range and lotts of smaller ones.Gotta try it again this year.MAYBE ???Good Luck This year.

yes that was a delaware river eye. I got a great back water spot with no current at all. Freezes great but it's hit or miss fishing. Last year first day on the ice there we landed 5 keepers all over 20" and the biggest being 26" and lost a few. Caught one or two here or there the next few trips but  overall very slow. Keep hoping to hook into a huge muskie, catfish or smallmouth but no luck yet, maybe this winter

A true legend indeed.  Lots of skeptics out there don't believe that it came out of Blackie.  Even more are in disbelief that this fine fish specimen took a wiener on a tipup.
