Same like every year, catch more fish and to not fall through the ice

To just enjoy every day on the ice.  Become more knowledgeable, and hopefully a better fisherman.  Try some new methods, and explore some new lakes.  Meet some new people, and have fun.  Also, not falling in.

I would like to try some different lakes myself. I would like to catch a walleye as well, I've caught them in open water but never even targeted them during ice season. Last but certainly not least is fish more this ice season. Have a safe season and good luck.

So is that one or two to mean yes or you might get one if you are lucky. I only ever caught one in KS as they are rare as hens teeth.

My only goal this year is a 40"+ pike from Nebraska waters.  If I get wet I get wet.  I guess as long as I get in......hope I get out!

Fishing should be the exercise of your skills- and its rewards the places it brings you to

I would like to get a few limits of some big Gills and crappie this year. It seems like last year I could only pickup a few good ones and then pull in dinks the rest of the day. And like always still looking for a wall hanger.

Seriously?  Maybe you should consider eating the more populated dinks and support the fishery's future.

Seriously I can't have a goal of going out and catching a limit of good fish?

Sorry, I have no control over how you read my post.

I will say that it's not much encouragement to others that release trophy fish to do so if it's gonna be a "wall hanger" they ended up providing for someone else!

That said, I thimk it's CRAZY to spend $$$$ on a plastic fish when a nice frame with the fish and the fishers' smile will look good forever!

My goal for this year is to get people out who have never gone ice fishing before.   Coworkers, neighbors, family, just anyone that thinks ice fishing is "grumpy old men".   I have a lot of people excited to go,  and some still skeptical. This is going to be a great season!
