Green hornet

Can't help but fell the itch beginning to really start for the upcoming ice fishing season. So much so that I was looking for some sort of project to pass the time and make the season a little more fun, so I have decided to make myself a few green hornets. I will post pictures when done if anyone cares to see.

Where are you going to find the bamboo blanks? I had thought about making a couple replicas myself.

I may not use a bamboo blank, I think I'm just going to use a fiberglass blank. I am going to look for  some bamboo blanks though if I find any I will definitely let you know

Do a search for green hornet here on I.S.  I posted exact measurements and photos for mine. Exact copy of the movie prop. I'll check tonight to see if I can find the post/ pics

I just finished putting some clear coat on mine. I don't think its an exact replica but it's pretty close. Just need to attach the rod and it's finished, I'll post pics soon.

That's my version of the green hornet, all in all it was a fun fall project to work on. I'm excited for the upcoming season and hopefully land a few fish with my green hornet.

Sweet. I need to watch that movie. Haven't watch it in years. Anyone know if it is on netflix? I have the DVD of the second movie, but I think the first one is better
