Going to fire up my Auger tomorrow.

Z51 Eskimo. On it's 5th year now and has always started on the first pull. That is if I turn it on and prime it the correct amount of times.

That's what I love about my Eskimo Mako, it fires right up.  Last year I it didn't want to start until the second or third pull so I pulled the carb and fuel line to see what was going on.  I found a gob of gook blocking the inlet into the carb, thank you tree huggers and ethanol, and after I cleaned everything out it was back to normal, firing up on the first pull as long as I didn't do something silly like leave it switched off.

No Ethanol in mine. The only place with in about 100 miles from me that sells it is 100 yards from my house.

I buy TruFuel at Home Depot. No ethanol and comes in a great, portable can. One can is exactly the same tank size as my Jiffy. It's hard to justify spending what amounts to probably $50 a gallon on gas, but when you only need 1/4 gallon for the season it's worth it.

Well after a few pulls I thought it wasn't going to start. Then I remembered I didn't open the vent on the gas cap. Then she fired up.
