That's what I love about my Eskimo Mako, it fires right up. Last year I it didn't want to start until the second or third pull so I pulled the carb and fuel line to see what was going on. I found a gob of gook blocking the inlet into the carb, thank you tree huggers and ethanol, and after I cleaned everything out it was back to normal, firing up on the first pull as long as I didn't do something silly like leave it switched off.
