found some ice

Won't be long. Went up to the mirror lake highway to fish. Snow all over, also found some ice. Not sure how to post pics on my phone. But will get some up later.

It was a slow day. Caught 4 between the 3 of us. Only wish i could of been on the ice to have caught them.

You fished from shore? Sounded like you were ice fishing when you said you found some ice!!

Yeah from the shore , but i did find some ice on the edges of the lake and on a small pond.

Sounds like it won't be too much longer for you guys. How high up were you, over 10,000' ??

Very nice randal801, easiest way i found to upload pics is to get the photobucket app and you can upload them fast and easy to your photobucket account then when you get to a computer you can edit them. I wish you could resize them from your phone easier.  I figured with the cold mornings we've had lately the ice was not far out up there. Been on the ice there in mid November a few times. Hopefully this year will provide the same. Hey oldsailor the elevation up there is 10,000' give or take a 1000' depending where you go. Alot of lakes in the High Uintah mountains. One day i'll get a grayling up there

Early ice would be awesome!  The news guy said we have a major cold front coming in, so might not be too long in that neck of the woods.
