All right. I'm really getting the itch. Here's a teaser to help me cope with the lack of ice. Hopefully you guys will play along.

What is your favorite lure color?

I'll start, but I'm not sure I can pick it hands down. At this point I'd have to say it is either GOLD or CLOWN.

I'm anxiously awaiting your wisdom....

It depends on where I am, one pond I fish loves chartreuse, another loves green and blue, and of coarse always like gold.

For me it all depends what body of water I'm fishing , two of the walleye lakes I fish one likes bright colors and shines and the other dull stuff

Glow is my go-to, especially if the water color is dark or murky. i also really like black or gold.

Very tough to decide, just matters what they want but as most have stated my 4 main used colors are firetiger, silver, gold and white(glow). Not necessarily in that order

Okay. So I've tried to sum up the results so far. It has been difficult to sum. Is Chartruese it's own color, or is it a green, or is it a yellow? I lumped it with green which had a surprisingly low showing, although firetiger had a good showing which includes a lot of green and chartruese as do the perch colors. Gold seems to be either at or near the top, which doesn't surprise me too much. I thought gold was my "secret weapon", but apparently it's not very secret.

As more answers come in I'll try to keep my tally up to date. If the color was worth mentioning in a post, then I felt it was worth scoring a mark on the tally.

For what it's worth:
Gold 7
White(glow) 4
Firetiger 4
Pink 3
Orange 2
Pink/White 2
Blue 2
Grn/Wtrmln 2
Perch 2
Copper 1
Red/White 1
Clown 1
Silver 1
Black 1
Smoke 1

I guess I don't know what you mean by smoke. I think I prefer dynamite?
