Roy Lake Trip for SW IA
« on: Oct 06, 2014, 07:10 PM »
I am planning a trip up to or around Roy Lake the beginning of January and I'm looking for any information anyone can give me.  I live about 7 hrs from Roy Lake but my father-in-law and my boss are best friends and have traveled up there a lot for open water fishing( never ice fishing) and Im hoping a group of 5 of us can do well with our electronics.
Also I was wanting some input to the Roy lake Resort (weather its worth staying at for $165/night or another place to stay that's nice to stay at. and last but certainly not least if we'll need a guide while were there and anyone recommend to contact while were planning our trip. Thanks

lots of options as far as fishing in the area.  Many good lakes in the area not far from Roy.

some other lodging choices are:

a couple of guide services in this area:

good luck and enjoy SD fishing
