Hey everyone, hope everybody had a great summer. Ice is soon upon us and I look forward to seeing the posted reports return and new friendships being built. Talk again soon

6 weeks max im thinking. Bring it on!!!!

I was on a bus and just happened to be sitting on a news paper. This guy came up and asked. "Are you reading that ?"
I said  yes, stood up, turned the page and sat back down.

I had to scrape the windows on the vehicle a couple of times already. Getting close. Spirit Lake temp is falling.

We had frost at my house in Pennsylvania five or six times already and large flocks of geese are flying south earlier than last year.  I'm hoping it's a sign of an early and long winter.

I kinda just try to get the most fishing out of each season  as it comes.  Been camping at Hickory Grove and limited out on Crappies the day before it started rainning so not complaining.  With the thought of Ice in mind this week though I've been marking in brush piles  and structure locations in my gps with thoughts of the winters ice fishing to come.

Right! That's what it was last year.
I've been traveling the last few weeks for work and hitting all the usual stores cabelas , fleet , BP , Thorne ect
Lot of cool stuff out this year already . 13 s got a sweet new rod out this year  " tickle stick" stupid name but looks like some really cool features and will be picking one up soon
Can't believe the cost of sleds going up so much may just want to keep my predator I've been wanting to sell
Come on cold!
