Little Buddy Heater
« on: Oct 03, 2014, 05:13 PM »
Heater messed up on the ice last year, everytime I hook up a bottle it would leak.
Anybody have a fix for this?
Did it happen to anybody else?

Look at the gasket/oring in the heater?  Could be "chewed up".

A lot of times as mentioned, the seal gasket is chewed up or missing, or just plain dries out. Check that first; you can take it out and spray some silicone on it to help it keep it pliable, which I normally do to these type of seals. Check to make sure the threads aren't "cross-threaded" or messed up. I like a drop of oil on the threads to help prevent cross-threading. Don't force the bottle, either, it should screw on easily. Good luck.  :)

If ya had one of the NEW Stryker Predator suits from Pro Tackle Outfitters, you wouldn't even need a heater.   ;)2
