Looks like we are turning the corner

35.1 at 3:30 this AM. Should be down to freezing by daylight. Not looking forward to lobsterfishing this morning. Will be cold on the hands. This should also help get those bulls moving for those of you who drew a permit. Good luck.

31 this morning. It got down to freezing with a heavy frost yesterday morning. Someone told me the news reported 17 in Jackman yesterday morning. YIKES!

Yep, frost the last three days here. Skim ice on the animals water buckets. ZOICKS! AND AWAY!
I put an order in for mousees for Thanksgiving week! We were on the ice just after that last year.

we were on 4in. on the 26th of nov. last year. got a pile of smelts! hope it gets cold like that again this year.

I've started to list of little things to do, repair/fix to get ready for the season. The cooler weather gives me the "itch"
