If one of your passengers is drinking a beer while you're moving, is that an open container violation?

Not that ice fishermen ever drink...

I hope your sense of humor is better while you're fishing than it is while you're on the internet...

Sorry.  Didn't mean that to be snippy.  You did hit a nail on the head tho. You can get into trouble out there if you don't remember that your snobear is still a motor vehicle. I watched a guy get popped in lake buel a few years ago. Sitting on his atv drinking a beer and giving the epo a hard time saying that it wasn't illegal....he lost the argument

They can bag you for an open container even if you're just sitting on a bucket! I'd bet the guy you watched get busted had a little too much 'liquid courage' in him if he was arguing with an epo. There's a good chance the whole thing wouldn't have happened if he had been taking it a little easier. I'm guessing the epo's aren't out there to be hard asses, but don't want to take any crap either.

There aren't to many places in my area that you can have booze on the ice legally, it doesnt bother me a bit and I have brought a flask a few times, and its probably a good thing its not allowed because it just seems that wherever theres booze there will be trouble sooner or later, I have never had my sled checked for booze but I know guys that have, getting mouthy will definitely get you a ticket for something, I have noticed on the few lakes where you can have it as long as your not acting like a drunken fool you wont get hassled but it just seems to me the guys that are having a party on the ice tend to leave trash and that tics me off

Personally I enjoy having a few beers while ice fishing, but I don't over do it. I don't like when people get hammered out there because liquid courage seems to kick in then they are tearing it up on ATV's or sleds. I usually have my kids with so it can be dangerous. If everyone kept their cool and stayed "in control" we wouldn't have all of the issues we seem to have.
I like to walk on water.

Sweet ride.
It is MY responsibility to make sure my children can enjoy fishing years from now. Make sure your kids can fish.  If you see something ILLEGAL Contact the Massachusetts Environmental Police Radio Room at 1-800-632-8075 at any hour of the day. They might show up if there is enough staff working.

Well now we need more snow.  But come on out to the berks. Pm me and I'll make time for a test drive. I will be away all next weekend Thursday through Monday to work the Burlington VT Dicks Ice Fishing show for HT Enterprises and Polar Fire so I won't be able to show then.

Bill, trade in your boat, the yak stays. I thiunk the closest thing the GODs will get to the Snobear is a Flexible Flyer with wheels and a rope to pull it. #NotaSnowbear

That's amongst the craziest things I've ever seen. I absolutely love it. Is there a trap door underneath for drilling?

Gonna hafta make my buddy buy one of those.

No trap door. They are an ice fishing vehicle. They come with pedestal fishing seats, bunk beds, 4 precut holes with inserts for fishing, mounts for Vexilar at each hole, two auger mounts, 36 rod holders, cup holders, 110 outlets, 12v outlets, pandora, Bluetooth, Sirius, and a ton more.

The best part is the entire vehicle FLOATS so if you ever did break through you won't sink or lose any gear. It also displaces less than 1 pound of pressure per square inch... That's like Baitbucket light!
Last week in the snow I was bombing around on my farm and it was only sinking down like 2-3 inches in the snow even though we had about 16 on the ground.

LOL nice!

You hear that Ed? With a Snowbear you could be just like me. Minus all the fish. I dont think anything can help you in that department lol
