What are the sides made of?

Thanks!

do you think you could look at your receipts and find a product number for the sheeting? My local home depot doesn't carry it(been looking for while, also called coroplast) and I can't find any info on the web other than 18x24" project panels. By the way, awesome shack, I've been wanting to do something similar. How much do you think it weighs?

White was the only thing they had.   here is what the sticker said,   SOR-3672   36x72.175   Sabic Polymershapes.    got it at Home Depot in Bangor.

I'm guessing it weighs about 250 lbs, the heavy part is the 3/4 floor and 2x 8  pt skis

ok thanks for the info, I thought you were using 4ftx8ft panels, not the 3x6, but anyway your link helped me find what I was looking for anyways so thanks again and hopefully soon I'll be making my own shanty thread

Nice work on that shack .

I made one with that same siding material and I love it . I got my siding for free from a corner store in the form of old beer sign adds they post outside of the store . Ask your local guy he might have a bunch kicking around out back

what material is the black stripes made of? Is it just black duck tape to seal the seams? Like this bobhouse very much...

it's nailed, and Gorilla Glue tape.   read the reviews, said it holds up in extreme cold conditions.   We shall see :P time will tell.     I used it because it breaks up the white sheets.

I used black Gorilla tape on my snowmobile seat that had split. Still there after 5 years.

Did you use the same material for the roof?  My wife talked me out of building a hard side last year and she bought me a portable but I've been wanting a nice hard side for close to home fishing with comfort. We do have people steal nice bobhouse's around where I live so that has been the biggest reason for not building one but boy I really like the the way this shack is built.
