The ice was 4 to 5" thick. I was the only one out there but there were many vehicles on the road that stopped or slowed down and stared at me.. hahahaha
One other guy ended up coming out and fishing by me.
It was kind of creepy. The ice was GLASS and I could see ~8 feet down. It was a blast watching the fish come up out of the weeds and swim around under the ice.
Inside the house was amazing, it was like looking down a spear hole.
In the evening the ice was cracking all over the lake because it was so cold, it was quite the spooky symphony.
