Not being a jerk but good luck! About all there is around here is gills, crappie and bass. Caught some little tiny perch in Menno a couple years ago but I think the bass take care of them before they get too big. Your best bet for walleye in this are is Pickstown which is a haul for you. I have yet to find a lake in this area with a sizeable perch or walleye population. There should be some above the damn in Yankton but from what I hear its very hit and miss. I don't like river ice so you won't catch me out there... Twin lakes north of Humboldt has walleye. It is a trophy lake so nothing under 28 inches can be kept and only one if your lucky enough to get one that big. I don't know how far north you consider Southeast SD but there are a few sloughs around I-90 that hold perch. Good luck and if you find a good place let me know and I'll do the same for you.
