Half way there..
« on: Jul 02, 2014, 12:22 PM »
 @) @) @)

Almost pains me to say it but I should be back on the ice in about 4 months. Still got the 4 best months of open water ahead of us though, hope summer has been good to everyone.

You're a lucky man to have such a long ice season, I wish I could say the same.  Hmmmmmmm are there any houses for sale up your way?   ;D

Lots but 6+ months of winter isn't nearly as much fun as it sounds like. I'm going to enjoy every last minute of the warm weather that's for sure.

I live for winter and could handle six months of winter any day of the week.  What I can't stand is this darn heat and humidity.  I'll take a foot of snow and 20 degrees any time.

I hear ya on the heat and humidity. Temps from 90-100 with heat index 100-110+. You can always put another layer on in the winter time but, you can only take some much off without getting in trouble;-) and getting sunburned in place that you never thought you could. LOL like the old saying goes "grass is always greener on the other side" When its hotter than heck in the summer time.....you are saying can't wait for winter. After a 3week winter vortex of bitter cold (-40 to -60+ wind chill) ..... you are saying can't wait for spring.

Anyone that know me knows that I never wish for spring no matter how cold it is.  When the winter vortex starts I'm a happy camper and a grumpy camper when it ends.
