Abandoned Ice Shanty Upper Saranac Lake

I doubt that anyone checks this forum this time of year, but I thought I would shout out to whoever owns the shanty on the trailer just of RT 30 on Upper Saranac Lake.  It has been there for two months and the summer residents will be coming in the next two weeks and they will not like the sight of it. I have a tractor nearby and can help move it if there is a problem with the trailer.  Just hoping to save the owner the grief of having it impounded and save the fisherman of the lake from further scrutiny on an already over regulated lake!

Jonnygopro  does the shack have the required owners name and address on it somewhere ? You should be able to get a phone number to contact them if you have that information. Thank you for your efforts to keep Upper Saranac lake open to the general public. Good luck in finding the shack's owner.

I saw Raquettedacker's post and just read through your original post. Does the trailer the shack is on have a license plate if so your local police can run the trailer's registration . which may help locate the shack owner.

Should be impounded. Whoever owns it should know and should have been gone a while ago.
