Idahoghator thank you for posting the link I always wondered how well fish could see fluorocarbon. I looked at your post earlier this morning and figured I should come out of the shadows and post a reply.

Good article.  I had pretty good success with the clear tube jigs, sorry I can't remember their name right now, I want to say it's something like mini-chub or something like that, with gold glitter in them for perch and blue gills.

I have been looking for "clear" colored plastics since reading the article ...very limited ...may be before ice season starts they will be more readily available.

Buyer beware with microspoons.com  This article was from the Ice Fishing 2014
edition of In Fisherman. After reading it, I went on their website and ordered about $15
Worth of their plastics. I rec'd an email thanking me for the order but do to
overwhelming response to the article, they were way behind production and I wouldn't see
my order for 4-6 weeks. A few days later, they charged my card for the order.
2 months later and still no plastics in mailbox. I emailed them politely asking for status update.
Response was still behind production but just purchased to equipment to help keep
up with demand. I was thanked for my patience (which was fading fast) and told by the
owner that she would make my order a priority - would ship in next 2 weeks. That was in mid January. Guess what - 8 months later, still nothing.  And no more responses to my emails which
have gotten progressively nastier. At this point, I continue emailing them just to make myself feel better about the $15 they stole from me.
