Got the brush hog out today, replaced a belt on the yard mower, still have more to go. This just takes up to much time. Don't know if I can wait 5 months

Well another future fisherman joined our family early this month! 8lb, 21.5" baby girl. Older sis is excited and its been a busy few weeks around the house.. Definitely a game changer having 2 little ones to keep occupied! Probably put fishing on hold for a short while. Set a goal to get the boat out at least 6 times during the summer and managed 3 trips so far so I cant complain. Next trip I am taking my oldest for her first trip of the year! That's my update.

Still here. Every time I get in 70' of water on the north end, while trolling, I ask myself... " why do you walk so far out on the ice to fish for smelt"?

I came across a free set of skis and plan to build a Smitty sled this fall. I've searched and looked at lots of peoples versions on here, anybody got a "sweet" one they feel like sharing that I can use as inspiration??? The deep snow last year prevented me from dragging my big clam around so I've gotta try and make it easier.
