« on: Apr 20, 2014, 04:24 PM »
Nice day was up flying today and checked out lakes from PG to FT ST James. And open water where the stuart river and stuart lake meet and looking up the lake has some dark ice and looks wet. Ness lake had a person looking for kokanee. All Esters park lakes had ice.

Wow that ia awesome!  Wish I had recon like that on lakes!   The ice can't melt fast enough.   Give me 50 of open water and I'll put my fly line in!   This winter is taking forever to go away!

Does anyone know how Gravel Lake is looking out west?

Gravel Pit still has lots of ice. Drove by it yesterday and it doesn't even look like it's started melting yet.

Damnit!   Time to break out the blow torch and speed things up!   I heard Buckhorn has at least 10ft open around the lake.   This rain will help!

Man I need to hit Cluculz this year!   I love catch and release and those fish are monsters.  I would also like to try for Burbot one of these days.
