So, who thinks ice season isn't over yet? We very well could have fishable ice on the opener again.

 we were almost ice fishing opening day last year and it was hot for the last half of march and most of april.  this year it's been cold and we'll probably have +18" of snow in the month of april if the forecast is right.  either way going up for some rainbows either tomorrow or saturday.

 ..just started thinking...if our season opens 10 days later than down south, shouldn't the season stay open 10 days longer up here?

Way less snow this year though.  Week of warm weather and ice will go fast. Was by Mission and Katepwa on weekend and starting to rot/turn color already.

Way to Dangerous. Ice is looking real ugly and one wrong step and she could be all over. I will wait and see.

Still driving trucks on the stocked trout lakes up here as of yesterday.  Going to be nip and tuck. For ice out for the central opener again this year unless it gets hot in a hurry.

was out that way by preeceville on the weekend had 15 inches of snow. not much of a melt happening out there yet

Walleye 17 said he went out on Lenore at the Lungs today and there were still 39" of ice. He was Ice Sailing with Dave and Justin.

Blackstrap should be open for the start...but just barely
