all and all a great ice fishing season?

I had a blast this year.. finally figured out how to jig and it worked for me all year. I caught on the jig pole a wide range of fish this year. Bullhead, Bass,Crappie, Perch, Blue gills/Pumpkin seeds, Trout and smelt. Also got a slammer 11 lb  pike on a 3ft jig pole with 8lbs test and of course steel leader. i must say Pike are the most fun to get on a jig pole in my opinion, especially with light tackle.

My freezer is testifying to how this winter was. We will be eating smelt, perch, and trout for a long while. Lots of fun and good times had on the ice as well.  Great winter on Bomo.

I went out for the last time today,did lousy but had fun and now its time to put he stuff away until next December !
