Best of luck
« on: Apr 11, 2014, 07:30 PM »
to all those who will be spring and summer fishing. Please save me some for fall fishing.  ;)  Unfortunately I will not be able to participate this year.   :(  Had an MRI done wednesday and found out I have a ruptured bicep tendon and also need work done on the rotator cup. The good news is they are both on my left arm.  Going in monday for the surgery and will most likely will be out of commission for 3-4 months.  This is not the way I planned on finishing the ice season and starting salmon season.  Hopefully in the fall  :) I'll be able to get into some salmon and stripers.

It's been great following the posts and learning so much this season.  I'll be dream fishing on the  MFF and BIP Outdoors. Lol

Good luck John and here's hoping for a speedy recovery. Did you hurt your arm catching the 4 lb. brown with NHTF?  ;D

Good luck with your shoulder. I go in Monday to find out what's up with my left shoulder also. Hopefully maybe just a shot but will not know until I see the Dr. I am left handed and cannot cast.

No that was a different John, though I wish I caught a 4lb Brown.  This actually happen back in February while ice fishing Dan Hole.  I was unloading my  sled with maybe too much gear in it.  I felt my arm pop and was waiting to see if it would heal up.  Well after a couple months it was still bothering me.  That's when I decided to see a orthopedic.

I had my shoulder replaced last June. It worked out really well. I recommend Dr Parsons at seacoast ortho. He's good

Best of luck
