Trout trip
« on: Apr 06, 2014, 08:37 PM »
Hit a couple of trout lakes with my Grandson and a few friends today. Trout fishing was slow but those pesky perch were just too plentiful  ::)
Best weather day this season…..sure glad I wasn't stuck at home or at work  ;D
Possibly another trip is in the making………we'll see  ;)

Ya that's always the trick in there to stay away from the perch.

I would wait on hitting up McHugh Lake....
Was out there yesterday and the trail is getting pretty soft in some places and the snow is pretty deep when you step through.  Not saying it can't be done, but it is a little more work walking through all that deep snow, especially up the hills.

This head cold that caused me to lose my voice yesterday was brewing for a few weeks due to some sickly co-workers.  :o Now my wife is showing the same symptoms  :o   Anyhow the timing couldn't have been any worse  >:(  Not to worry Mike…..we'll get after those trophy trout before ice out……I'm a fast healer  ;D
