X2 Still need extensions on some lakes but consistently 25-28" on most everything. And unless they plow the road, we will be sledding into Ambajejus to get our smelts.

I think we will be down to Kingsbury smelt by the time we are trolling lake auburn. Dead bait only won't be an issue for Rangeley this year.

You'd be surprised Dylan. Those in the know, will have freshly killed live smelts for trolling Rangeley. The lakes around me are only a week behind and the smelts are already showing up. Spring has a way of warming up fast, at least in this area.

That can't be the Kingsbury Pond in Kingsbury and Mayfield townships. there must be another Kingsbury that I don't know about.

No its Chris but I really dropped the ball on that one. Been waiting all year too say it too. Ive seen plenty of people out at a few spots dipping... didnt see any smelts caught yet tho.
