Me

if Lansing Pool 9 ice holds up; I'll be calling up there Friday, to see how much rain they got, and hopefully an ice report. I'm only fishing in 4.5 ft of water, so the worst that can happen is I get a little wet lol. Anybody else chasing one last adventure?

Going to try and get up to Crystal tonite or tomorrow to see what the wind from yesterday did to the ice. If I make it over there will let you guys know.

Not sure I'd try Lansing either. I have to deliver a boat to my son-in-law this weekend so no fishing for me regardless.

Yea, I watched live radar up there, and they looked like they got a lot of rain up there. I think ice fishing in Iowa is done till nov or dec

I wished I could chase some ice I would be back at south Dakota or lake of the woods but next year should be a lot better im not planning on having a new baby on dec 16th this coming year and the wife said I can go anywhere I want at least every other weekend some where far

Just called desoto,wi and ice is still 2' w no access issues. Lol, guess where I'm going in the am? Staying all night a friend in Waterloo tonight, so I don't have to get up so early in the am.

Good for you, post pics for the rest of us. Don't stay up all night with your friend or you will get a later start than if you had left from home.

You try a really small gold jig with a wax, spike or wiggler? I imagine you've put everything but the kitchen sink in front of them by now. Just thought I'd put my 2 cents worth in. lol

Yea, I've tried everything. I've got 6 perch in my bucket, and I think I've out fished everybody else on green lake, by the looks and sound of it. All mine have come on beaver dam tipups w 2lb floro leader, and a size 18 treble...minnow hooked in dorsal fin. Have only seen a half a dozen gils on camera, few perch, and one crappie. Guys have said it's slow on desoto bay, so I just stayed put here. I've caught a couple footballs though!!! Two weeks ago this was loaded w nice gils; it's as if northerns have run them out, but have seen no one catch a northern, nor seen one on my camera. Water clarity is very poor; hard to see jig 18" from camera. Two weeks ago I could see 36" away from camera.

Thanks! From whT I hear, I had the best luck of anybody around; 5 decent perch, caught 8 total, most guys I talked to, got skunked; poor fishing

Good to hear!! Id been to crystal 3 times last week, so I had to try something different.
This was my best one of the weekend; just got home and ice gear is put away. C u all next season!!!!!

I don't think I'll post any pictures but I have caught about a dozen in a 150 mile radius so far. Lol an impressive amount of patience is required still. The dsm is a few degrees cold yet.
