Ice Out, Fly Fishing In

It has been a long ice season this year. As much as I loved every trip, the fly rod took over last weekend. It has been a pleasure chatting with all of you this season, tight lines, till next year!

I was out last weekend as well. But didn't have that kind of luck hoping the Stones will be hatching heavy like in the video in my area this weekend. Looks like a great day.

I just got off the ice tonight and used my fly reel if that counts (big perch and crappie are hitting). Great job Psychologicalperch and have a great open water season.

Have a great fly season!   Great chatting with you guys again, warm weather means work for me till hunting season in the fall and ice fishing starts again.  I still hope to make some upstate NY trips before it's all over, but looks like CT may be done this weekend in the spots I like.   Ed
