Final meet up on Saturday?
« on: Mar 25, 2014, 10:05 PM »
Who is up for getting out one last time on Saturday?

I'm undecided on a lake as of yet.

I know I'm heading out. Be packed to walk in.

Good fishin!

I plan on fishing Pigeon until I finally fill my class B tags.  Friday- Monday and into Pigeons extended season if needed.

Now that is commitment. Git 'em! Lol.

I always seem to do alright for them when the bite is on off the provincial launch.

Never have looked into tags.

Good luck Linemanpete!

Just realized Pigeon may be open late but tags expire Monday so that forces my hand a bit.   Been to PP twice saw no walleye either time.

That should work out if you don't mind one more.

Then Sunday I think, I'll try and hammer some more big pike at wabamun.

Good fishin'!

Have a great end of season guys! I haven't been able to get out this season more than a couple of afternoons and I can't believe it's over already. Hopefully I get out with you guys next year. Enjoy the final days of the regular season.

Spent the day at the provincial park. Cannot drive on due to huge heave at the launch. Walked around set up in 6' and saw nothing. Moved deeper towards and past the drop off and then worked my way back and forth over my holes.

Only managed one pike, not legal went back, and a nice burbot, not in season went back. I may need to eat my class b tags not sure if I can make it out before Monday anymore.

Sandholm launch looked fine to drive on at as did mulhurst, took a tour on the way home.
