Since this is probably the coldest winter of my life, or atleast the coldest that I was old enough to ice fish, I figured I would finally try a spot that doesn't always get good ice.
My buddy Eric and I hit Keuka Lake today for some lakers. We went out of the State Park about 1 mile. We had good action all morning and headed in around 3. We ended up landing around 25 lakers mostly between 16" - 20". We missed and dumped that many and more. The ice was about 12" everywhere we went. The weather was awesome!!!
A nice moonlight stroll out to the spot.
The 10 that we kept.
