I'm heading to Sturgeon pool this weekend for the closing of walleye season .... can anyone offer me any advice on where to start? 1st time fishing there & I sure would hope to close the "learning curve". I thought about the big hole near the outlet dam, the southwestern bay & at the downside of the inlet dam (but that looks to be a long trek from the 213 parking. I did see that there is a dirt road (powerlines) that is off of Napoli Circle/Grist Mill Rd, but don't know if I can traverse it in a Subaru Outback tho'). Any help?!
