Caz lake has smallies?
« on: Mar 10, 2014, 12:27 PM »
Was out Sunday morning on caz sight fishing for gills when this beauty took me for a ride.  I guess you just never know what's gonna be down those holes!  Anybody else ever hook up with smallies through the ice on caz?

We have caught quite a few smallies at caz, both through the ice and open water. Don't be suprised if you pull out a walleye either, they are in there although not in large numbers, if you do catch an eye it is probably gonna be a big one!

Good to know scottcny, thx.  Gonna try the drop shot this summer now that I know theres a decent smallie population in there.  I'm always targeting the LM on caz come summer but gonna have to switch it up cause those smallies fight like animals.
