Myself 97sx and sdhuntnfish and 2 others headed out from Poison this am on sleds...soft getting on but easily do-able...tried to head south there are some sketchy areas for sure....as the day went on the top layer had softened up with scattered break through some crusty spots on foot moving around certain areas....end of the day for us was around 4pm later for 97sx and we broke through...all the way through about 20yds from shore getting off at poison...stayed on the throttle all was well...atvs utvs prob fine until lunch time sleds id head off by 2pm to be safe...on foot? Bring waders to walk on and off...still a sketchy layer of 5" crusty slushy soft then 14+" of good ice...great day fishing was predictable for poison...enjoyed 1 last day with an old friend and some new friends....just in case your wondering...spicy mustard on fresh rainbow filets on the grill...tastes like spicy mustard rainbow filets on the grill!!!
