Do schools of perch stay in the bays during the winter late season? I`m having trouble locating the school`s in the bays now. Early ice I had no problems locating them. Help?!? :'(

I believe the spawn has to do with depths of the lake!!  I would say the lakes that are 50 feet or less the bays and shallows warm up much quicker and sunlight penetrates these shallow bodies of water much easier!! The bigger 50 plus deeper colder lakes it might take a little longer, do to the depths and temps before u start to see the bigger late season girls showing up to do there thing!!  Just my 2 cents!!
