bait?

hello,
i'm going ice fishing this weekend near hayward,wi.  and the lake has alot of bass and then some walleyes and northern. I plan on using tipups with minnows or shiners and then jigging with some lures while learning how to use my marcum  vx1 pro flasher. any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks Randy

oh yeah, i really would like to get the big walleye :-)
