Ill second that.  My buddy also pulled a 21in walleye while jigging perch.  Aside from the gills and the occasional perch i caught a 17in largemouth and a 13in golden shiner. Last thursday.

There is a secret shoal on Cranberry that goes to 12 feet deep. They are stacked up on it.
Its right behind a white house with a black roof.
In the spring troll it for huge ones.

12 ft. shoals BS. someone wants to start another panic like the long pond walleyes. LOL. last weekend I heard long pond was busier than Braddocks. you're gonna have a million people looking for some non existent 12ft. hole.

Back in the marsh there are 10 point bucks and lots of pheasant and wood ducks to hunt too.
Bottom line every local pond has fisherman that grew up on it and are sensitive to strangers taking their secret spots away and fishing it out. The internet has been good and bad for sharing info. Dont post how many fish/deer/birds you got and then everyone is happy except the poor guy trying to learn or looking for a new spot.

We'll said. And just because the fish are there doesn't mean it's going to be fished out.
It's called fishing not catching for a reason

Cmon everyone just tell the truth. There are walleye in those ponds just like there is sturgeon in the lake. Not many have caught them but I have and I have witnesses just no pics cause I lost that phone with the pics on them.

You can talk all you want . first off the sturgeon was caught last year during the spring Pro-Am on my charter boat fishing off the niagra bar and several captains saw it. Plus you can call Wes at slippery sinker in Olcott who can verify as he was on boat when we caught it. Second I didn't say I caught walleye recently in those ponds  but have caught them on several occasions, open water and ice. So if any old timers were fishing at that time they getting them as well and may or may not agree with me. I don't talk trash because I don't need to. I have a proven reputation for generations on the great lake we have and are fortunate enough to fish. If you have to ask where the fish are then you aren't working hard enough.

My 2 cents

The ponds and Braddock's are nurseries
A wide variety of fish come in to spawn at various water temperatures and leave
Some stay as" locals"
Braddock's can have a school of any fish come in year round chasing bait and leave
If you are in the right spot at the right time you will catch
If not, just enjoy being outdoors

I've seen sasquatch running around back in the cattails and bald eagles soaring in the sky LOL. any water that has access to the lake is going to have a wide variety of species. Just keep whats legal, toss back the tiny ones and for the love of god please pick up your trash when you leave!! Tight lines fellas

The fish taste fine if you catch them in the winter or spring. They taste fine. In the summer the pond weeds up and the water gets real warm. Add that to all the jet skis and sure I'll bet they don't taste too good.
