Breaking in a new Auger
« on: Feb 12, 2014, 04:04 AM »
My new auger is on its way, and with this winter it will be getting quite a workout.  I want to make sure I break in the motor the right way.  Its the new Strikemaster with the Honda motor.  Any suggestions?

Thanks

Best thing is to let it warm up for 1 min before drilling

I let mine run for about 30 seconds maybe a bit longer if very cold out.

I never broke mine in, I just started it and drilled holes.

Read the manual, they don't provide them for nothing.  Opinions are like buttholes, everyone has one and they don't provide you with any guarantee other than that they stink.
