Hey guys, I'm gonna be in Lacrosse the week of March 9-14 for a class I have to attend for work,any good spots nearby or anyone have a shanty nearby that would like some company???

Try lake Onalaska, that is a very popular spot.

The lake has it's moments but I prefer the river myself.  Send me a PM when you're getting ready to come out this way, I'll throw you a bone or we can meet up and go out some time.  Usually late ice like that I'm out after walleye most evenings, hopefully we'll still have good ice then.

I would say fish the middle of the channel on the black river.  Pretty much anywhere is good.  You need a spud pole though so you don't go through.  There is a lot of really sketchy ice mixed in between the good thick stuff.
