South Jersey ice fishing

I go to school near atlantic city and was wondering if I should bring a couple jigging rods back down with me. I know theres less ice there but im not sure how much less or how long the ice season is down there

i years past when its real cold the mullica river guys jig white perch but dont think it will happen this year usally not good ice in south jersey central  on a good year assunpink wma and farrington lake
