Any word on ice conditions?  Have tomorrow off, want to drop some lines.  Thanks!

fished it on thurs about 7 inches out from the boat ramp, but seemed to thin up really quick as you went to the left. it was all good black ice, but be carefull not sure how much left in the warm weather over the weekend. make sure to drill a few test holes better to be safe than sorry.

Anyone fish this past weekend. Wondering how much ice is left from the warm-up.

I fished it last Thursday eve and there was still about 4½" at the launch. I would imagine with the cold since then that there is at least another inch or two.

Slow day, but two good flags saved it.  Ice was mostly really good, 4-7 inches of black.  Had a hole crack on us though, so be careful out there.

What do you mean a hole crack? like you were walking and you had a crack? you were drilling and heard a crack? you were sitting and had a crack run thru your hole? that's a pretty trout though, probably a holdover from last year.
Y'all catchin?

Drilled a hole, and was kneeling around it setting up, when we heard (and felt) the ice crack.  An audible crack, not just the ice settling or anything.  There was an inch or so of snow on the ground, so I didn't see anything, and I certainly didn't hang around to check...
