Glass Lake
« on: Jan 09, 2014, 08:06 PM »
Anyone been fishing Glass Lake this year? My father-in-law lives near there in Averil Park. I would like to try jigging for pan fish there. Any help would be appreciated.

I bass fish there in the open water season and that lake is LOADED with panfish. Please take some out lol. No seriously, we see schools of hundreds in the spring along the banks when the water is warming up. Good sized perch too.

Fished off Vet's. Ice seemed to hold up well but it was a wet day. Had about 6" of clear ice. Caught about 80 perch jigging. Kept about 20.

Nice no lakers ???

I was not targeting lakers. There were some guys fishing about 50 yards from me and they were catching lakers. They kept one 26 incher. Lost a nice one at the hole and put 2 back that were short.
