snow lake

 got out today on the channels at snow lake. ice was 2 3/4 - 4 depending on where you drilled. caught 23 gills and a couple of crappie. if yoou head to the channels and want to go fish "hickory island" be very carefull the ice is still iffy as you head that way. It sure felt good to land a few fish. will be back out there saturday morning. will make sure to get pictures this time.

there's access at otter up by the outlet mall. But i think you can park by some of the channels off 120

i was using a black with purple flake jig and small bee moth. 

Just stop and ask someone that lives along there if you can walk thru their land and they might let you. there is no public access. i'd be very careful now we got a lot of snow last night.

Be carefull where you park at snow lake you WILL get towed! Last night we got 9" of snow so if you come up this way be very carefull where you go.
