I'm so glad you all enjoyed my performance as the Village Idiot lol.
Jiggin had left a GoPro on his Jeep to randomly film while we had our end of the year get together. I saw it fall onto the snow, so I picked it up and started messing with it. Unlike a regular camera, you can't look through it to see if you're filming or what you're aiming at. I was a bit confused.

OC, those are my newly retired Lacrosses (cracked everywhere). I'll have to practice "gracefully" stepping out of my new wellies for next season.

OC, I think I used them for 5 winters. Other than being cracked, I really liked them. I guess there's something you're supposed to rub on them to keep the rubber supple, but I never did that.
The only reason I wouldn't buy them again is, as stated above, the maintenance they require. I think neoprene is the stuff that doesn't crack as easily, so I'm trying that this year.

you guys and girls at the circus are just awsome. ive only fished there 1 time last year. hope to get to meet some of the great acts at the circus this year. jiggin your videos are awsome. keep up the great work. i did build my own shack this year , but im not sure where ill call home, ide love to be on newfound and part of the circus but its a little bit of a haul for me , and with a tow truck drivers schedule its hard to get out as much as ide like to. love the circus ! you are all 1st class people that ide be proud to call friends.

So...Laker Taker and I were able to get onto some ice today and he managed to pick up 2 browns and lose 2. I ended the day with nothing but a chance to film him catch and miss some browns.

There's always tomorrow.....

Our season has started back up again....finishing out 2014.

12.07.2014

Went solo today. Weather was different than yesterday, cold and frairly breezy. Holes kept freezing up but I'm not complaining.
Yesterday it rained, snowed, sleeted but no wind.

Ended the morning with 4 browns (all little between 12" - 16") and lost 2.

Sat on shore watching my lines with my back up against a rock, sun in the face. Place all to myself, Peaceful day. Time to reflect, was nice.

Sounds like a great day. It's amazing what having a lake and it's surroundings all to yourself can do.
